ufc 162, win the crowd and you’ll win your…well ACTUALLY you don’t win

the brazilian, anderson silva(left) won the crowd over by taunting his opponent, the american, chris weidman(right), turning chants of “usa!, usa!…” from the audience at las vegas mgm arena to chants of “silva!” silva, much more accomplished and arguably one of the best ufc fighters around, stuck his chin out (literally) and got knocked out.

so what can we learn form this? (1) you can win an american audience over with excessive showboating (2) americans will ONLY support you if you are winning (3) by taunting 100% of the time, you have 0% of the time left to fight or defend yourself (4) if you’re the one taunting and you lose, no one will feel sorry for you
